Dangling Rope Marina: 03-28-08

Scheduled Service Outage:

  • Dangling Rope Marina is now open for the season.
  • Current Hours of Operation is 8:00 am until 4:00 pm (AZ Time)
  • Fuel is available
  • Pump outs are up and running
  • Fresh water is available on the dock
  • Boat Shop and Marina Store is open 

Self - Serve:

  • The National Park Service does not allow any overnight camping on the marina docks.

  • Water is accessible for launching at your own risk when the lake is at 3611'

Wahweap Marina: 6-17-08

      Hours of Operation 

Current Conditions :

  • Please call 928-645-1037 during business hours for pickup at the launch ramp if you have many items to transport to your boat.
  • Marina Store is open 7 am - 7 pm AZ time.
  • Executive Services is open 7 am - 7 pm.
  • See New Slip Build for 2008 for current construction/outages information.
  • Wednesday (6/18/08) at 7 am we will be shutting the power off to move the shore transformer and switch gear. The power may be off from 4 to 8 hours.

Current Launch Ramp Conditions :

  • State Line Launch Ramp is open for launching.
  • Elevation of the end of the Stateline Launch Ramp - 3558'
  • This ramp is usable at 3562'.
  • Wahweap Main Launch Ramp is open for launching.
  • Elevation of the end of the Wahweap Launch Ramp - 3556'
  • The grade at the bottom of the ramp decreases to 7%.

Bullfrog Marina:  12-3-07

Current Conditions :  

  • Ferry is currently shut down for mechanical issues.
  • See Hours of Operation for services are currently operational.
  • Water is turned off for the winter with nighttime temps at 19 degrees F. 
  • NPS pumpouts are still operating but water has been shut down.
  • Spring hours begin on May 26th.
  • A new, wide walkway is being installed this winter to access the marina at the covered slips.  This is scheduled to be completed by mid-February.
  • The Bullfrog Lodge and Restaurant are closed for the winter and are scheduled to re-open on March 5th.
  • Family Units are available through the off season months.
  • Ticaboo lodge is open through the winter months.

Current Launch Ramp Conditions:

  • Bullfrog Ramps are be open for launching.
  • Elevation of the end of the Main Launch Ramp - 3580'
  • Extension of the ramp is only at half width.
  • The grade is 5-6% so will be difficult for large boats.

Halls Crossing Marina: 12-3-07

Current Launch Ramp Conditions  :

  • The Halls Main Ramp is open for launching.
  • The end of the ramp is at 3542'.
  • The ramp is not usable for large boats at the elevation of 3552'

  • No moves scheduled at this time.

  • The last water taxi to the buoy field is no later than 5 pm unless prior arrangements are made.
