Current elevation is 3595.58, up over two feet in the last week. The snowpack has increased in the past few days- 18-24" of snow in the higher elevations- to more than double the amount this time last year, forecast for more snow from today through Saturday. The extra snow is great, but the cooler temperatures have slowed the melting and the inflows- now at 82% of historic average. There do not seem to be any indications that will not get a 40-50' rise in the lake elevation, but it appears that the high inflows will be later than normal and will delay the opening of the cut until later in June. All of that can change quickly based on the weather patterns.
